End of Abyss
Despite the glitches, I loved snooping through the cold, industrial hallways of End of Abyss.

Star Wars: Galactic Racer
Galactic Racer is a Star Wars game, and that might be enough for some, but not for me. Fortunately, it's an even better racing game.
Star Wars: Galactic Racer
The Phantom Menace made it clear that racing belongs in Star Wars. It's unfortunate that it's taken nearly two decades to get another racing game set in the galaxy far, far away, but Fuse Games has made things right. Star Wars: Galactic Racer is the fast and furious racer Star Wars has long deserved. It's stuffed full of fun content, whether you want to hop into fun Scenarios, participate in some quick...
Dune: Awakening
Dune: Awakening succeeds in making players feel like everyone is out to get them, all while encouraging you to rise to the occasion and come out the other end stronger.
NBA 2K27
NBA 2K27 aptly builds upon features in prior entries, even when parts of that foundation are less sturdy.
Minecraft Dungeons II
Minecraft Dungeons II isn't a bad game at all, just weirdly flawed. The difficulty level is all over the place, from brutal-hard down to cakewalk, the Minecraft theme is a nicely attractive coat of paint over a completely unrelated game, the story is little more than an excuse to send you chasing after the next yellow diamond on the map, etc. And then an enemy drops a cube of dynamite and you get to...
Minecraft Dungeons II
Minecraft Dungeons II is a straightforward, entry-level action-RPG that proves this spin-off franchise can stand on its own and improve with subsequent entries.
Ace Combat 8: Wings of Theve
Ace Combat 8: Wings of Theve is everything we could have hoped for. It features a much longer, compelling story, a ton of different fighter jets at your disposal and some of the best combat in any air combat game. It's not the return to form Ace Combat 7 was, but it helps refine and polish the formula. The mission variety keeps things engaging, although there’s at least one mission that had us scratching...
NHL 27
It’s evident NHL 27 is a leap year for the franchise as it doesn’t innovate on the modes and immersion already present. Instead, it soft-launches patches that barely pass as a winter update.
Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave
Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave is an impressive new entry in the series, offering a gigantic experience with significant depth to its elements. It manages to build on top of many systems the series has played with in the past while also finding a fresh approach to the complete experience. It’s the kind of SRPG colossus that will provide fun for hundreds of hours, inviting players to be thorough in their...
Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave
Fortune's Weave is the latest entry in the Fire Emblem series, and it is both massive and worth the time investment.
Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced
While not a stem to stern remake, Ubisoft has made an enormous number of additions and tweaks to ensure this pirate fantasy still hits its mark.
Onimusha: Way Of The Sword
Onimusha: Way of the Sword is a challenging and complex action game, and a great start for this series return to Capcom's stable of games.
Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy
Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy executes familiar genre staples and delivers a moving story starring a charismatic pirate on what may be the most impactful and tragic adventure of her life.
Gothic 1 Remake
Just like the beloved original, Gothic 1 Remake has a brutal learning curve and is rough around the edges, but it’s also an outstanding example of updating an old classic without diluting what made it great.
