The updated Career Mode is nice, but the lack of any online championship and really anything new online is disheartening. The changes to the racing aren't as major as one would think, but it still remains solid against the AI. Just don't expect anything extremely deep. There are surface level changes here, and the dynamic lighting will help shake things up for players with excellent-looking environments at times, but there just isn't enough here to build on as a sequel. The game is still fun, but so was the previous year's."}],"updatedAt":"2026-09-17"}
