Remedy has crafted a more expansive and grand experience than its predecessor, focusing on thoughtfully designed levels and a presentation that’s unmatched. Manhattan proves to be a perfect setting to build a paranormal, physics-defying adventure, and it helps that the side quests are more about telling compelling stories than generic rewards. It’s not perfect, though, as bosses are lacking and the normal enemy encounters quickly become tiresome. This is even with all the combat variety, something that allows numerous play styles to shine. Still, Control Resonant has an incredibly memorable adventure filled with likable characters and a solid, albeit somewhat convoluted, story that will keep players hooked."}],"updatedAt":"2026-09-24"}
