Když před necelými dvaceti lety vyšla na konzoli SNES hopsačka Yoshi's Island, stala se okamžitě hitem. Yoshi's New Island pro handheld 3DS lze vnímat jako poctu originálu.
Až budete hledat definici průměrné plošinovky, zastavte se u Yoshi's New Island. Všechno sice funguje, hraje se to slušně, ale svou tuctovostí trkne Yoshi's New Island do očí a za chvilku na ni zapomenete. Od Nintenda jsem čekal mnohem víc.
