Edge of Eternity je ďalší pokus fanúšikov zo sveta priniesť vlastnú JRPG. Viaceré atribúty sú funkčné a ako celok je hra celkom zábavná, môžete v nej utopiť desiatky hodín, najmä v objavovaní sveta či bojoch. Smelo sa môže porovnávať s bežným prúdom menších či stredných JRPG fanúšikovia žánru si tu n. Na velikánov však nemá – ale osobne mám z nej lepší pocit ako z Cris Tales.
Na pohled krásná pocta tradičním JRPG ze staré školy se skvělými taktickými souboji a úchvatným soundtrackem. Zážitek bohužel kazí nevyváženost herních prvků a technická stránka. Úchvatná prostředí kontrastují s příšernými animacemi, příběh neumí držet kvalitu a stabilní tempo, svět je prázdný, crafting zbytečný a dialogy patetické.
